          If you had time and money, what are three places in the world that you would visit and why? Would you travel by plane, ship, or train? Would you rather stay in a big hotel, a small inn, or even a youth hostel?

          If I had time and money, I would visit Paris, Egypt and Afica. Because, Paris is the city of lovers and I would see Eiffel Tower. Maybe I believe in love at that time :).  The Pyramids of Egypt is very interesting. So far without damage to the standing of the Great Pyramid, regarded as one of the Seven Wonders of the world. I would see people live in Africa. I would like to go to these countries by plane. I would stay in a youth hostel.

17-24th December

       
       I had an ordinary week. I wasn't at home last weekend. But, we went to Kübra's home. Her mother prepared a wonderful brunch. :) Pasta salad's taste was very good. We played games together (taboo, backgammon, billiards etc. ). While I was playing the guitar,they were eating asure. 
Then we sang a song together.We went to hookah cafe at 5 o'clock.
Consequently, This was a enjoyable Sunday. 


  


       I miss my family and my mother's meal. While they are by my side, 
I didn't feel alone. They are very precious to me. My mother had the flu. 
So, I'm so sad. I hope my mom get better as soon as possible.





Motherhood is sacred in all circumstances.

1.    What day is World AIDS Day?
Wednesday is December first, World AIDS Day.

2.    Are the number of Aids-related deaths increasing or decreasing? Why?
The number of Aids- related deaths are decreasing. Because, many countries showed progress on this issue.

3.    The latest UNAIDS report says new HIV infections have fallen almost ___twenty________ percent in the last ten years.

4.    Which populations are most at risk?
These populations include sex workers, drug users and homosexual men.

5.    In other news, how many non-smokers have died as a result of second hand smoke?
Researchers found that more than six hundred thousand non-smokers died in 2004.

b.   What You Can Do to Reduce the Risk of Getting Hepatitis

1.    Where is the liver?
The liver is in the upper right part of the stomach.

2.    What is its job?
 The liver helps clean the blood and fight infection. It also helps break down food and store energy until the body needs it.

3.    What does hepatitis do?
Hepatitis destroys liver cells. Some kinds of hepatitis are much more serious than others.

4.    What are antibodies?
Antibodies are special proteins that the body's natural defenses against disease produce in answer to a threat.

5.    How is Hepatitis A spread? What are the symptoms if someone has hepatitis?
Hepatitis A is usually spread through human waste in water or food.The hepatitis A virus causes high body temperature, pain and weakness. It causes problems with the stomach and intestines, making it difficult to eat or break down food. Also, the skin of a person with hepatitis may become yellow.

6.    How can someone prevent and protect from getting Hepatitis?
To help prevent the spread of hepatitis A, people should wash their hands after they use the restroom or change a baby's diaper. People should also wash their hands before they eat or prepare food.

Hepatitis A is often found in Asia, Africa and Central and South America.

8.    How many people have Hepatitis B?
Two billion people are infected with the hepatitis B virus. ( The World Health Organization said  it. )

The vaccine is ninety-five percent effective in preventing the development of infection.

25. Should people with Hepatitis donate their organs? Why?
People in high-risk groups and those who have had hepatitis should not give blood. They also should not agree to leave their organs to others after they die. Donated organs can also spread hepatitis.

Cholera is a outbreak in Haiti. Health officials are worry abouth losses of this disease. Cholera causes diarrhea and vomiting. The body loses a lot of fluid. People can get cholera if they eat foods or drink liquids containing the bacteria that cause the infection.
Cholera can be treated. Patients drink a solution of salt, sugar and water. The most important problem is that there is always help. If cholera is not treated, it can kill within hours. People have been living in tents after the earthquake. This dirty and crowded environment is very suitable for cholera.
The outbreak in Haiti has already killed several hundred people.
Some people have taken measures. Workers provide clean bottled water and water purification tablets. People are being urged to wash their hands carefully with soap and purified water after using the toilet or changing a baby's diaper. These are so important.

I hadn’t exam this week. So, I’m very happy. I went to Taksim with Ayşenur. We decided to go Küçük Beyoğlu. When Ayşenur drank a lot of beer, we left from there early. I slept that night with her. We hadn’t done this for a long time. Ayşenur seemed to be happy but she is so sad because, she hadn’t her lover. After a time, she will get used to separation.

I hadn’t interesting something on internship day. My patient’s companion offered me tea and cake. I just ate them because, my teacher hadn’t to see this. (:

4 - 10th December 2010

     I had a physiology exam on Tuesday. I haven't slept for days but, it was worth it. This exam was well. I'm sad because, English exams were very difficult. So, it was horrible. Anyway, I and classmates went to amusement park. We like the kids had fun there. Then we went to Maiden Tower. It was perfect. I remembered my old loves. We listened to emotional musics. (Sezen Aksu, James Blunt, Evanescence etc. ) We came to dorm at 12 o'clock.

     I woke up late on Thursday. Fortunately, I wasn't late internship. I hadn't different patient this week. Everything was normal. When we took a break, we bought profiteroles and tiramisu. :) They were so cheap and delicious. We think we have to do this every week. When I look at this photographs, I laugh every time. Finally, I had a good week.

A. Summary of "The Body" / Chapter 7,8,9

     Chris has a gun. Gun has a bullet. They forget nobody take food. They put together their money for take food. Someone to bring food. Gordie thinks Teddy is a stupidman because, he waited to come the train on trainway. Gordie is helpful because, he pushed Teddy the train. Chris is crazy because, he stole a gun from his father. Chris's father is an alcoholic man. So, some problems can be. Goride's father doesn't like Gordie. This situation isn't nice. Vern's father works factory. He is the better than the others.

B. Events From This Week

Last week was so exhausting for me because, i had an anatomy exam. I studied for 5 days. I couldn’t go out with my friends. Anatomy exam was so difficult. Exams haven’t finished yet. I have got 3 exams on next week. So, I’m very bored.
My internship was very good. My patient’s name is Mualla. She is so old and funny women. Her leg broke 2 weeks ago. She has had a pain. I helped her to walk with walker. By the way, meals are very cheap in GATA. Generally, everything was great. I took many photos with Kübra. We had fun when we took the photos. :)

Listening Report of Medical Advice

     1. The most common problems are flu, angina, pneumonia, stomach diseases, fractures etc. People can have an accident, into depression. Maybe people have a chronic disease. So they go to the doctor. When I went to hospital for internship, I saw a lot of common problems. Then I looked for medical advice and medication online. If I didn’t nursing study, I would do it again.


     2.When I went go to hospital or a doctor's office, doctors and nurses treated me well. If I went to the doctor in a foreign country, I was more timid. Maybe I was afraid of treatment. Communication is very important in this issue. Doctors and nurses are so respectful to each other in my country. I didn't see any error.


     3. Ronald Schuller called Dr. Carter's Office because, he would make an appointment to see Dr. Carter and he talked to receptionist.  Ronald should pick up his kids. So, he didn’t wanna go to office on Wednesday at 4:00 o’clock. He chose Thursday and gave to his telephone number to receptionist. He fell a ladder while he painting his house. His foot landed in a pain can. So, he sprained his unkle. He suffered a few scratches on his hands and knees. Receptionist suggested application of ice and said “Please come in today. I don't think your case can wait.”

1.       The Body
      The murder was happened. Gordie and his friend explored this murder. A lot of events occurred in their life. The characters are  Gordie, Chris, Teddy and Vern. My favorite character is Gordie. This book is very exciting. So everybody should read it. I like this book. Because, I think it is interesting story.

2.                 I was very busy in last week. I had got so homeworks. Sometimes I couldn’t find time even to eat. I have a dream about leave the school one day. :) I spent with my family and friends. I went to lots of hairdressers.  So that, I felt  fine. :)  Holiday is over too quickly.

Anna Scott is an American  Film star. She is rich, beautiful and very famous. William Thacker is a shy man who has a small, unsuccessful bookshop in London. Their lives are different in every way, but they are both loking for someone special. Notting Hill is a wonderful and very funny love story.

I learned many words. I like tihs story. I want to be in love with a funny man. :)
